The Man
This whiskey is developed by the descendants of P.J. Burns. P.J. Burns was born in Chicago on January 30, 1891, the grandson of parents from County Limerick, Ireland. P.J. served the USA with distinction in World War I and post war became a sports journalist of some renown. Most importantly he is the Patriarch of the Burns family across the United States. This whiskey is inspired by and pays tribute to his memory and legacy.
The Whiskey
P.J. Burns Irish Whiskey is made from a carefully selected blend of the finest single grain and single malt Irish Whiskeys in Ireland's most accomplished independent distillery (Great Nortern Distillery). A high porportion of the blend is finished in virgin (American) oak casks and combined with a good balance of single malt. The result is a smooth flavor but with a complex body and finish.
